Youth of our congregation enjoy events emphasizing Biblical growth and teaching, hands on learning and service through community outreach and service, and fellowship and spiritual enrichment. Our programs relate faith to the everyday lives of young people and are available to both Middle and High School aged students in grades 6-12.
Some of the opportunities for Rooted youth group participants are:
“Rooted Youth Ministry Fellowship” for Middle School and High School – meets on Sundays from 5:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the youth room for recreation, dinner, worship, and small group discussion.
Sunday School Classes meet on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. In the youth room. We use the Spark House “re:form” curriculum and are currently studying the New and Old Testaments. Once a month during Sunday School, we meet for “Wawa and the Word” where we will walk to Wawa and enjoy breakfast and a Bible reflection.
Mission and Service Opportunities– Throughout the year, our youth will learn about themselves, their faith, and serving others. Each month we will share our time and talents around and beyond the community at places such as United Against Poverty, Family Promise, Ronald McDonald House, The Russell Home, Grace Covenant, and more.
